In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norwich AFC's goalkeeper Gholam Reza Abpakhshi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gholam Reza Abpakhshi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gholam Reza Abpakhshi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Reza Alavi in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woolwich's goalkeeper Kamal Mansourian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 minutes of play, Woolwich's Kasra Sadeqi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gholam Reza Abpakhshi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Woolwich's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when sam Maleki scored to the left of an out of position Kamal Mansourian, making the score, 1-1. Kamal Mansourian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shahab Heidari in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Norwich AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sadegh Shirazi hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Norwich AFC defense, Mehrak Ghanad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gholam Reza Abpakhshi. The Norwich AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gholam Reza Abpakhshi should have stopped the shot. Kasra Sadeqi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Gholam Reza Abpakhshi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehrak Ghanad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 48 minutes, Mehrak Ghanad made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Norwich AFC's Gholam Reza Abpakhshi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Reza Alavi made a kick off. Mehrak Ghanad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Norwich AFC's Massoud Shiri got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ali Reza Alavi might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gholam Reza Abpakhshi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Reza Alavi ran back to his position shaking his head. Borzoo Delnavaz's late challenge caught a Norwich AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Borzoo Delnavaz helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes into the game, one of Woolwich:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Norwich AFC a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hedzyat Faghih, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Woolwich's Kamal Mansourian. 3-3. Ali Reza Alavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gholam Reza Abpakhshi having to interfere. With a little luck, Norwich AFC's Gholam Reza Abpakhshi got control of the ball when Mehrak Ghanad tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Norwich AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Massoud Shiri to maneuver through the defense. Shahab Heidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
