If Sahand Delnavaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danush Sanei struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rahim Ghoreishi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulverston AFC. Danush Sanei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rahim Ghoreishi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rahim Ghoreishi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sahand Delnavaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Yousef Azimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rahim Ghoreishi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Birkenhead's goal looked a bit too open when Sahand Delnavaz came free, but Rahim Ghoreishi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Sadra Kazemzadeh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birkenhead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadra Kazemzadeh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yousef Azimi's late challenge caught a Birkenhead's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yousef Azimi helped the player get up and apologised. Yousef Azimi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amir Parsa Ahmadzadeh during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Ulverston AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Parsa Ahmadzadeh to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Koohyar Dabir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aref Kaebi skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Birkenhead getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gholam Artoonian hit a great ball. Danush Sanei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsalnn Bazargan to make the kick off. Ulverston AFC's Amir Parsa Ahmadzadeh got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Amir Parsa Ahmadzadeh off the ground. After 55 played minutes Ulverston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amir Parsa Ahmadzadeh. Rahim Ghoreishi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danush Sanei in the 59th minute. Jalal Taleblou hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Farid Farnoudi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Birkenhead's Rahim Ghoreishi didn't even have to move. Arsalnn Bazargan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aref Kaebi having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Ulverston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sadra Kazemzadeh came free, but Aref Kaebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arsalnn Bazargan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsalnn Bazargan in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aref Kaebi saved Ulverston AFC from getting behind. Sahand Delnavazs short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Rahim Ghoreishi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 82nd minute, Ahmad Reza Ghoreishi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Morteza Ghoreishi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sahand Delnavaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ulverston AFC's Sahand Delnavaz in 90 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rahim Ghoreishi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Danush Sanei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Ghoreishi having to interfere. Morteza Ghoreishi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Ghoreishi having to interfere. If Sahand Delnavaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Ulverston AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ulverston AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Birkenhead were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
