Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hedzyat Shirzad took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Hurst Green's Pirooz Faryadshiran got a free kick in the 4th minute. Hedzyat Shirzad struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Shervin Hosseini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gateshead FC. Khashayar Hatami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shervin Hosseini having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match, Hedzyat Shirzad tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Shervin Hosseini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bahman Golzar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirooz Faryadshiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Khashayar Ghasemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bahman Golzar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurst Green's Shervin Hosseini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hurst Green from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hedzyat Shirzad in the 27th minute of play forced Hurst Green's goalkeeper Shervin Hosseini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shervin Hosseini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hedzyat Shirzad in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hurst Green's zone, Hedzyat Shirzad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shervin Hosseini came out of the goal and Hedzyat Shirzad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, Hurst Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasra Aghazadeh to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Hedzyat Shirzad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shervin Hosseini. Hurst Green's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hedzyat Shirzad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khashayar Ghasemi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Khashayar Hatami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hedzyat Shirzad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shervin Hosseini came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gateshead FC's Khashayar Hatami. But to his dismay, Khashayar Hatami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hedzyat Shirzad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Shervin Hosseini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kian Gohari hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gateshead FC's Khashayar Hatami got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Hurst Green's goal looked a bit too open when Hedzyat Shirzad came free, but Shervin Hosseini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hedzyat Shirzad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shervin Hosseini was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Hurst Green's Shervin Hosseini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hedzyat Shirzad in the 84th minute of play. When Gateshead FC's Hedzyat Shirzad in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hurst Green's goalie prevented a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Gateshead FC's Hedzyat Shirzad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shervin Hosseini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Hedzyat Shirzad came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gateshead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hedzyat Shirzad couldn't finish the play. Khashayar Ghasemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gateshead FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
