Afshin Mirzapour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rambod Shakibaei having to interfere. Afshin Mirzapour might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rambod Shakibaei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afshin Mirzapour ran back to his position shaking his head. Jamshid Abedzadeh hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Behrad Hashemian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Barhill got a freekick which was hit by Bardia Majidi. 43 minutes into the match, Middleton's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi came free, but Gilberto Galo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behrad Hashemian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Galo having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Bardia Majidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shervin Zarghami to strike the kick off in the second half. If Behrad Hashemian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rambod Shakibaei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afshin Mirzapour in the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Afshin Mirzapour ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rambod Shakibaei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Shervin Zarghami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Barhill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farzad Ostadasadi to maneuver through the defense. Rambod Shakibaei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shervin Zarghami's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 93 minutes of play Barhill's Farzad Ostadasadi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 94 played minutes Barhill got a freekick which was hit by Farzad Ostadasadi. Rambod Shakibaei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afshin Mirzapour in the 95th minute of the match.
