Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Haidar Zaheer kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Skegness's Mansoor Awan got control of the ball when Andrew Heath tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skegness's Farhan Sultan got a free kick in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andre Bramble during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Openshaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Bramble to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haidar Zaheer in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chaz Buxton saved Openshaw from getting behind. Haidar Zaheer succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Zakir Raman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaz Buxton having to interfere. Mansoor Awan came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Openshaw's Martin Skinner. But to his dismay, Martin Skinner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Andrew Heath took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mansoor Awan to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st match minute, Openshaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig Gower to maneuver through the defense. Yasir Fakhir kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Mansoor Awan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Bramble in the 39th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Haidar Zaheer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Openshaw's Chaz Buxton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Openshaw's Chaz Buxton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zakir Raman in the 43rd minute of play. Denis Burrows's late challenge caught a Skegness's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Burrows helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skegness booed when Openshaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Burrows didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skegness's Mansoor Awan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Bramble in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Talal Shah kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Skegness's zone, Ronny Illingworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansoor Awan came out of the goal and Ronny Illingworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zakir Raman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Skegness fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zakir Raman couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Openshaw got a freekick which was hit by Denis Burrows. Andrew Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansoor Awan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haidar Zaheer got free with Chaz Buxton in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mansoor Awan came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Openshaw's Andrew Heath. But to his dismay, Andrew Heath quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Daud Waheed kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Openshaw's Chaz Buxton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haidar Zaheer in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Martin Skinner notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Skegness's Mansoor Awan. Mansoor Awan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
