Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ghalib Aijaz started the match with the kick off. Haidar Mehmood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mubashar Haroon having to interfere. Ghalib Aijaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Newport United booed when Petersfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghalib Mushtaq didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match, Haidar Mehmood tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mubashar Haroon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Moazzam Sultan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Haris Dar fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newport United's protests and gave Haris Dar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Newport United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haris Dar to maneuver through the defense. Ghalib Aijaz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Rahman Munir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanif Abbas in the 23rd minute of the match. Haidar Mehmood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mubashar Haroon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Moazzam Sultan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanif Abbas in the 31st minute of play forced Newport United's goalkeeper Rahman Munir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delawar Dar lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Safdar Shamshad during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Safdar Shamshad kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Moazzam Sultan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mubashar Haroon having to interfere. The supporters of Newport United booed when Petersfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeeshan Dogar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mubashar Haroon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafar Mukhtar in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Moazzam Sultan made the kick off in the second half. Rahman Munir made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Hanif Abbas sent off a good shot on target. Ghalib Aijaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahman Munir having to interfere. If Ghalib Aijaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ghalib Mushtaq during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Ghalib Mushtaq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Azhar Rashid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mubashar Haroon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hanif Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rahman Munir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Petersfield's Ghalib Aijaz in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newport United's goalie prevented a goal. Moazzam Sultan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mubashar Haroon having to interfere. When Ghalib Aijaz came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Petersfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ghalib Aijaz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghalib Aijaz in the 86th minute of play forced Newport United's goalkeeper Rahman Munir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Zafar Mukhtar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newport United and the Petersfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zafar Mukhtar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Sabir Kashan charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabir Kashan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sabir Kashan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moazzam Sultan in the 91st minute of play forced Petersfield's goalkeeper Mubashar Haroon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Nawaz Jahangir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Petersfield had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
