Ayaz Awais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rahman Naseem's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Hanif Shan's late challenge caught a Weir FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hanif Shan helped the player get up and apologised. Ayaz Awais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahman Naseem, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Raza Shakir's late challenge caught a Weir FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raza Shakir helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Handsworth got a freekick which was hit by Raza Shakir. A hard shot by Adam Bahadur from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Farhan Mushtaq's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 27 minutes of play, Handsworth's Imran Rashid made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayaz Awais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Javed Talib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Farhan Mushtaq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamid Bilawal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farhan Mushtaq having to interfere. Ayaz Awais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Farhan Mushtaq successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half Handsworth were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Imran Rashid to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ayaz Awais managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Handsworth's Rahman Naseem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 55th match minute, Weir FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Usama Jahangir to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imran Rashid in the 56th minute of play forced Weir FC's goalkeeper Ayaz Awais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Imran Rashid received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ayaz Awais came out and tried to block the shot, but Imran Rashid slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Hamid Bilawal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weir FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Bilawal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farhan Mushtaq breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamid Bilawal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rahman Naseem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ayaz Awais made a huge save. After having played for 86 minutes, Hamid Bilawal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weir FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Bilawal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Bilawal in the 88th minute of play forced Handsworth's goalkeeper Farhan Mushtaq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Farooq Eitazaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weir FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Handsworth the free kick. After a rather tough play, Weir FC's Farooq Eitazaz got a free kick in the 94th minute. Farhan Mushtaq showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Bilawal in the 96th minute of the match. The Handsworth supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Handsworth would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
