St Albans's Ghalib Awais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Shayan in the 3rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Raghu Bolognesi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ghalib Awais to make any attempt to save it. After 7 played minutes St Albans got a freekick which was hit by Masood Mukhtar. A collision led to St Albans getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ghalib Niazi hit a great ball. Raghu Bolognesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. St Albans's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Benny Bosmans scored to the left of an out of position Ghalib Awais, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Newthorpe United getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adam Shayan hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, St Albans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghalib Niazi to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, St Albans's goalkeeper Ghalib Awais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Shayan. 24 minutes into the game, Shaukat Asharf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newthorpe United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St Albans the free kick. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newthorpe United! In the 26th minute there was a penalty for St Albans. Yang Guang Zhi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Damian Wnukowski. 2-1. Benny Bosmans hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Bilal Hannan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Damian Wnukowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 38 minutes on the clock, Shaukat Asharf commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newthorpe United! The referee gave St Albans a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yang Guang Zhi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Newthorpe United's Damian Wnukowski. 2-2. Masood Mukhtar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bilal Hannan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilal Hannan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ghalib Niazi's late challenge caught a Newthorpe United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghalib Niazi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to St Albans getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ghalib Niazi hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes St Albans got a freekick which was hit by Filipo Lugardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilal Hannan in the 69th minute of play forced Newthorpe United's goalkeeper Damian Wnukowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Wnukowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilal Hannan in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newthorpe United's goalkeeper Damian Wnukowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Masood Mukhtar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Bilal Hannan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Wnukowski was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Filipo Lugardo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Newthorpe United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
