Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basel Al Motaire took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Waheed Baroun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waheed Baroun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waheed Baroun in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rajab Al Zamel saved Royston United from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Haitham Jiragh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mazen Ghadhanfer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Margate FC's zone, Basel Al Motaire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazen Ghadhanfer came out of the goal and Basel Al Motaire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rajab Al Zamel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karem Al Zamel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Margate FC's Waheed Baroun got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Margate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basel Al Motaire came free, but Mazen Ghadhanfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basel Al Motaire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazen Ghadhanfer having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Adham Al Saffar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Margate FC and the Royston United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Margate FC's Adham Al Saffar got a free kick in the 38th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Royston United's Tariq Al Asuosi tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Royston United's Basel Al Motaire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mazen Ghadhanfer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haitham Jiragh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mazen Ghadhanfer made a huge save. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Margate FC's goalkeeper Mazen Ghadhanfer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Royston United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Al Dosery to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waheed Baroun to strike the kick off in the second half. Rajab Al Zamel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bandar Al Qattamy in the 53rd minute. Waheed Baroun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rajab Al Zamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bandar Al Qattamy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rajab Al Zamel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Haitham Jiragh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazen Ghadhanfer having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Basel Al Motaire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 72nd play minutes Haitham Jiragh shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Mazen Ghadhanfer and just under the crossbar into goal. When Royston United's Haitham Jiragh in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margate FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mazen Ghadhanfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basel Al Motaire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Basel Al Motaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
