Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sadeq Shams started the match with the kick off. Cambridge's Bashar Al Mansor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morad Ashkanani in the 4th minute of play. Morad Ashkanani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cambridge defense, Morad Ashkanani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bashar Al Mansor. The Cambridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bashar Al Mansor should have stopped the shot. Sayed Kamal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Skipton's Morad Ashkanani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bashar Al Mansor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mubarek Shamsah's late challenge caught a Skipton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mubarek Shamsah helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 minutes of play, Skipton's Morad Ashkanani made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bashar Al Mansor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cambridge booed when Skipton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Khaja didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Morad Ashkanani came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Skipton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morad Ashkanani couldn't finish the play. Morad Ashkanani struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Bashar Al Mansor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skipton. If Sajid Al Qattamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bashar Al Mansor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morad Ashkanani in the 35th minute of the match. Morad Ashkanani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Yahya Khaja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bashar Al Mansor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cambridge's Hashem Al Enzi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sadeq Shams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cambridge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skipton were winning 0-4.

In the 53rd minute Sadeq Shams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaher Al Hindi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Morad Ashkanani rounded Cambridge's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Sajid Boland kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morad Ashkanani in the 64th minute of play forced Cambridge's goalkeeper Bashar Al Mansor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Morad Ashkanani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bashar Al Mansor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sadeq Shams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qutada Al Youha hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Sadeq Shams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadeq Shams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadeq Shams in the 82nd minute of play forced Skipton's goalkeeper Zaher Al Hindi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sajid Al Qattamy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Bashar Al Mansor made a huge save. Morad Ashkanani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bashar Al Mansor having to interfere. If Sajid Al Qattamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cambridge's zone, Morad Ashkanani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bashar Al Mansor came out of the goal and Morad Ashkanani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skipton's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
