Yateley's Meqdad Al Homaithe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Al Jarah in the 3rd minute of play. Naem Al Azmi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Khalefa Al Khars. After 5 played minutes Thorne got a freekick which was hit by Bahaa Taqi. Naem Al Azmi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tamem Al Sohali in the 7th minute. Naem Al Azmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emad Al Bloshi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Emad Al Bloshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahaa Taqi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Tamem Al Sohali could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Naem Al Azmi however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Thorne's zone, Emad Al Bloshi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naem Al Azmi came out of the goal and Emad Al Bloshi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thorne's Naem Al Azmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emad Al Bloshi in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Yateley's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Al Jarah came free, but Meqdad Al Homaithe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monther Al Qatam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Yateley defense, Monther Al Qatam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meqdad Al Homaithe. The Yateley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meqdad Al Homaithe should have stopped the shot. Thorne's Naem Al Azmi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Thorne from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Tamem Al Sohali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jamal Al Jarah was the one to do the kick off. Monther Al Qatam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Yateley's Emad Al Bloshi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naem Al Azmi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Thorne getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Naji Khaja hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Yateley got a freekick which was hit by Motlaq Al Adsani. Emad Al Bloshi might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naem Al Azmi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emad Al Bloshi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 65 minutes, Emad Al Bloshi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yateley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emad Al Bloshi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Al Jarah in the 88th minute of play forced Yateley's goalkeeper Meqdad Al Homaithe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Thorne's Monther Al Qatam got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jamal Al Jarah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meqdad Al Homaithe having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Tamem Al Sohali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Thorne players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
