Hamed Shams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nizar Al Najdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Yasen Al Besher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nizar Al Najdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamed Shams having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, one of Broughton Astley United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Shaban Al Mulaifi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Nizar Al Najdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamed Shams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Bo Abbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sawbridgeworth's Adnan Bo Abbas in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Broughton Astley United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute, Adnan Bo Abbas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dawood Al Bloshi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Hamed Shams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nizar Al Najdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adnan Bo Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamed Shams having to interfere. The Broughton Astley United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sawbridgeworth were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Awwad Al Bana was the one to do the kick off. Adnan Bo Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hamed Shams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamed Shams was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Seraj Shabakhoh showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Hamed Shams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Bo Abbas in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Broughton Astley United's Saher Al Motar got a free kick in the 60th minute. Adnan Bo Abbas struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hamed Shams didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sawbridgeworth. Nizar Al Najdi came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hamed Shams could save by the left post. Yasen Al Besher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Salem Al Bana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Broughton Astley United's Saher Al Motar got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes, Nizar Al Najdi made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Broughton Astley United's Hamed Shams tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Awwad Al Bana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nizar Al Najdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Broughton Astley United's Moner Al Gareb got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Nizar Al Najdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawbridgeworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Nizar Al Najdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamed Shams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yasen Al Besher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Awwad Al Bana struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Salem Al Bana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broughton Astley United. 96 minutes into the match, Adnan Bo Abbas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamed Shams, 0-4. The Broughton Astley United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sawbridgeworth were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
