Wakefield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thurlaston the free kick. In the 14th minute, Hamzah Al Saleh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wakefield's zone, Ahmad Al Dosery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waheed Al Hajri came out of the goal and Ahmad Al Dosery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basel Al Shaikh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waheed Al Hajri having to make a save. Ahmad Al Dosery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Seraj Al Qatam hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wakefield's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saif Al Youha was slow to take the kick. During this time Thurlaston's players had a chance to rest. Yazeed Al Dabos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Abdullah Al Dosery charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Yazeed Al Dabos scored 4-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jalal Bo Hamad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Moath Al Muwail's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jalal Bo Hamad was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Thurlaston's Basel Al Shaikh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waheed Al Hajri. That made the score 4-1 after 85 minutes of play. Ahmad Al Dosery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Wakefield's goal looked a bit too open when Basel Al Shaikh came free, but Waheed Al Hajri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wakefield's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
