When Anwar Al Ghanem fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St Annes on Sea's protests and gave Anwar Al Ghanem a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to St Annes on Sea getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Anwar Al Ghanem hit a great ball. When St Annes on Sea's Sadeq Al Sharah in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peterlee City's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 minutes of play St Annes on Sea's Anwar Al Ghanem was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 19th minute, Anwar Al Ghanem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in St Annes on Sea's zone, Zahid Al Hindi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raed Al Khobaize came out of the goal and Zahid Al Hindi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peterlee City's Yahya Al Homaithe got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faris Sarkhohs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Raed Al Khobaize to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, St Annes on Sea's Meshal Al Banai got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Fahhad Al Mofede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. St Annes on Sea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peterlee City the free kick. After 35 played minutes St Annes on Sea got a freekick which was hit by Fahhad Al Mofede. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind St Annes on Sea's goalkeeper Raed Al Khobaize, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Faris Sarkhoh scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raed Al Khobaize, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sadeq Al Sharah was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Peterlee City booed when St Annes on Sea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meshal Al Banai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sadeq Al Sharah during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faris Sarkhoh in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raed Al Khobaize prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, St Annes on Sea's Meshal Al Banai got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Peterlee City's Masuod Al Ammar got control of the ball when Sadeq Al Sharah tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sadeq Al Sharah got free with Masuod Al Ammar in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. St Annes on Sea's Sadeq Al Sharah got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meshal Al Banai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Masuod Al Ammar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Masuod Al Ammar managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when St Annes on Sea's Sadeq Al Sharah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Faris Sarkhoh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Faris Sarkhoh notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of St Annes on Sea's Raed Al Khobaize. Raed Al Khobaize was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Faris Sarkhoh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peterlee City's supporters rose to their feet, but Faris Sarkhoh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raed Al Khobaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faris Sarkhoh hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Peterlee City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
