Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Halton Holegate United's Hani Bo Hamad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rashed Al Barrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Hani Bo Hamad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rashed Al Barrak. The goal made the score 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Saed Bahroh notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Halton Holegate United's Shabeb Kakoli. Shabeb Kakoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hani Bo Hamad in the 24th minute of play forced Barnstaple FC's goalkeeper Rashed Al Barrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Abdulatif Taiban from a close distance when the talented Rashed Al Barrak managed to make a qualified save. Barnstaple FC's players were relieved. 31 minutes into the match, Barnstaple FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hani Bo Hamad came free, but Rashed Al Barrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halton Holegate United's Shabeb Kakoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Msaed Al Gareb in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, one of Barnstaple FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barnstaple FC. If Hani Bo Hamad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Msaed Al Gareb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Msaed Al Gareb made a kick off. Rashed Al Barrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hani Bo Hamad in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Tamem Mandane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Halton Holegate United got a freekick which was hit by Abdulatif Taiban. Rashed Al Barrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hani Bo Hamad in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Farooq Boften hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulatif Taiban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rashed Al Barrak having to interfere. Rashed Al Barrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hani Bo Hamad in the 81st minute of the match. Halton Holegate United's Abdulatif Taiban got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Saed Bahroh dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shabeb Kakoli, 2-3. The supporters of Barnstaple FC booed when Halton Holegate United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghazi Abol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hani Bo Hamad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barnstaple FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
