Sror Al Ansari made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Hani Mandane sent off a good shot on target. Maitham Al Khaled showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abbas Al Muwail in the 3rd minute of the match. Maitham Al Khaled took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karem Al Holey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Moner Shamsah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Exeter AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karem Al Holey came free, but Maitham Al Khaled reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Great Totham's goalkeeper Sror Al Ansari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moath Al Harban. Moath Al Harban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sror Al Ansari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abbas Al Muwail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maitham Al Khaled having to interfere. Ahmad Hayat hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Exeter AFC's Hani Mandane got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Moath Al Harban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Abbas Al Muwail shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maitham Al Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sror Al Ansari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hani Mandane, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Moath Al Harban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sror Al Ansari having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Abbas Al Muwail managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Totham's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbas Al Muwail was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maitham Al Khaled breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Exeter AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karem Al Holey came free, but Maitham Al Khaled reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hani Mandane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sror Al Ansari having to interfere. Moath Al Harban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sror Al Ansari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moath Al Harban struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Sror Al Ansari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Exeter AFC. Hani Mandane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sror Al Ansari having to interfere. If Moath Al Harban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Ahmad Hayat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Exeter AFC's Maitham Al Khaled played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karem Al Holey in the 74th minute of play. Sror Al Ansari came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Exeter AFC's Moath Al Harban. But to his dismay, Moath Al Harban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Moath Al Harban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sror Al Ansari having to interfere. Sror Al Ansari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moath Al Harban in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Exeter AFC's zone, Abbas Al Muwail stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maitham Al Khaled came out of the goal and Abbas Al Muwail tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Great Totham's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
