Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani started the match with the kick off. Yasen Al Khars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waheed Al Attar having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Portsmouth United got a freekick which was hit by Faris Kakoli. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faris Kakoli during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Faris Kakoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alresford City's Yasen Al Khars got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waheed Al Attar having to interfere. Saif Al Sohali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Talib Al Mothaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Alresford City's goal looked a bit too open when Saif Al Sohali came free, but Talib Al Mothaf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yasen Al Khars struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Waheed Al Attar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alresford City. Yasen Al Khars blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waheed Al Attar having to make a save. Yasen Al Khars could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Waheed Al Attar made a huge save. Aamir Al Barrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Talib Al Mothaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talib Al Mothaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saif Al Sohali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waheed Al Attar. Waheed Al Attar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Waheed Al Attar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yasen Al Khars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alresford City's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waheed Al Attar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waheed Al Attar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasen Al Khars in the 65th minute of the match. Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waheed Al Attar having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Portsmouth United! The tension between the Alresford City and the Portsmouth United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alresford City getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Darweesh Shrean hit a great ball. Darweesh Shrean was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Darweesh Shrean kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Ghazi Al Hindi fired a really elegant long shot, but Talib Al Mothaf threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. A collision led to Alresford City getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Taqi Al Qattamy hit a great ball. If Saif Al Sohali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portsmouth United's Waheed Al Attar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasen Al Khars in the 90th minute of play. Abdul Mohsen Ashkanani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Yasen Al Khars managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alresford City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasen Al Khars was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yasen Al Khars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Waheed Al Attar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
