Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bashar Al Sarraf started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Sawaza getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Luai Al Qatam hit a great ball. Grantham United's Jaffer Al Motar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ghanim Al Hajri but with some difficulty. Bashar Al Sarraf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Moner Al Hindi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Wasel Taqi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes Sawaza got a freekick which was hit by Bader Al Rodhan. 18 minutes in the game, Najim Shadad fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ghanim Al Hajri having to interfere. Bader Al Rodhan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Wasel Taqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grantham United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Grantham United booed when Sawaza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadhel Al Arbash didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Najim Shadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Najim Shadad in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ghanim Al Hajri saved Sawaza from getting behind. Grantham United's Moner Al Hindi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mamon Al Bahar in the 41st minute of play. Mamon Al Bahar struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Moner Al Hindi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sawaza. Bashar Al Sarraf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moner Al Hindi having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Najim Shadad to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Fadhel Al Arbash mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sawaza and the Grantham United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fadhel Al Arbash hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Grantham United's Moner Al Hindi got control of the ball when Mamon Al Bahar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mamon Al Bahar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moner Al Hindi. That made the score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. If Najim Shadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wasel Taqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ghanim Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sawaza's Fadhel Al Arbash got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bader Al Rodhan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ghanim Al Hajri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasel Taqi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Moner Al Hindi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bashar Al Sarraf's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Wasel Taqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ghanim Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meteb Al Sharaf during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Meteb Al Sharaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Wasel Taqi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghanim Al Hajri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mamon Al Bahar scored 1-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moner Al Hindi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ghanim Al Hajri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasel Taqi in the 85th minute of play. Najim Shadad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanim Al Hajri having to interfere. Ghanim Al Hajri came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grantham United's Najim Shadad. But to his dismay, Najim Shadad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Bashar Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
