The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edrees Al Mofede to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaker Al Ateqi during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Najim Shadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Salim Shabakhoh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salim Shabakhoh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moner Al Hindi having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Saed Al Bloshi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind YAMYAMLAR1496 FC's goalkeeper Sobah Al Rifaee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moner Al Hindi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saed Al Bloshi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Although YAMYAMLAR1496 FC had been in control for most of the match, Grantham United still came away with the win.
