Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jassem Al Enzi got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Moath Al Sharaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbey Wood FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moath Al Sharaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute of the match Rashed Al Shati shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faisal Al Enzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mubarek Kakoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 13 minutes, Mubarek Kakoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbey Wood FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mubarek Kakoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute Jassem Al Enzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faisal Al Enzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morad Al Bana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamed Al Dabos having to interfere. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Nunthorpe. Ali Bahbhani stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamed Al Dabos. 1-0. The supporters of Abbey Wood FC booed when Nunthorpe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jalal Al Mothaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes, Abbey Wood FC's Hassan Abo Al Hasan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faisal Al Enzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abbey Wood FC reached it. A collision led to Nunthorpe getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tamem Al Bloshi hit a great ball. Abbey Wood FC's Hamed Al Dabos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Abbey Wood FC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Eyad Shamsah fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hamed Al Dabos, passed just outside the right post. Mubarek Kakoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Mubarek Kakoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faisal Al Enzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faisal Al Enzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jassem Al Enzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Nunthorpe's goal looked a bit too open when Jassem Al Enzi came free, but Faisal Al Enzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Nunthorpe's Morad Al Bana made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamed Al Dabos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eyad Shamsah to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Abbey Wood FC's zone, Morad Al Bana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamed Al Dabos came out of the goal and Morad Al Bana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eyad Shamsah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hamed Al Dabos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mubarek Kakoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jassem Al Enzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Abbey Wood FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Manaf Shams hit a great ball. Mubarek Kakoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Faisal Al Enzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jassem Al Enzi in the 82nd minute of play forced Nunthorpe's goalkeeper Faisal Al Enzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nunthorpe's Faisal Al Enzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jassem Al Enzi in the 87th minute of play. Mahmoud Al Sharaf hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Hamed Al Dabos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eyad Shamsah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamed Al Dabos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eyad Shamsah's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nunthorpe fans cheered their team off the field, for while Abbey Wood FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
