Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Morjan Al Ammar made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Ashford:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poynton:s goal. Ashford:s Adham Al Banai showed great skill when he stopped Yasen Shabakhoh:s penalty. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashford's goalkeeper Adham Al Banai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute of the match Rajab Al Habshi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adham Al Banai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Ashford's Adham Al Banai got control of the ball when Rajab Al Fadhalah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fakher Bo Qamaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hussain Al Mehana in the 31st minute of the match. Hussain Al Mehana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adham Al Banai made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Rajab Al Fadhalah sent off a good shot on target. Fakher Bo Qamaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morjan Al Ammar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Motlaq Al Attar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Adham Al Banai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The wind increased when Motlaq Al Attar made the kick off in the second half. When Poynton's Rajab Al Fadhalah in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashford's goalie prevented a goal. If Morjan Al Ammar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fakher Bo Qamaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morjan Al Ammar in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashford's goalkeeper Adham Al Banai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fakher Bo Qamaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morjan Al Ammar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ashford's goal looked a bit too open when Rajab Al Fadhalah came free, but Adham Al Banai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rajab Al Fadhalah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adham Al Banai having to interfere. Ashford's Adham Al Banai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Motlaq Al Attar in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Ashford got a freekick which was hit by Bader Boften. An unexpectedly hard shot by Motlaq Al Attar in the 76th minute of play forced Ashford's goalkeeper Adham Al Banai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rajab Al Fadhalah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adham Al Banai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Adham Al Banai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajab Al Fadhalah, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Motlaq Al Attar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adham Al Banai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Faisal Abo Al Hasan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Morjan Al Ammar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 minutes, Faisal Abo Al Hasan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashford and the Poynton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faisal Abo Al Hasan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Motlaq Al Attar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Ashford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bader Boften to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Motlaq Al Attar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ashford's Adham Al Banai. Adham Al Banai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Poynton were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ashford for a fine match.
