The corner led Al Dhaid SC's Saed Kakoli to fire away a dangerous shot which David Drent despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Al Whada FC's David Drent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Al Whada FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th match minute, Al Whada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Msaed Kakoli to maneuver through the defense. Al Dhaid SC were furious when Riad Shalan was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 40 minutes into the game, one of Al Dhaid SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Msaed Kakoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Al Whada FC defense, Mosab Al Harban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Drent. The Al Whada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Drent should have stopped the shot. Msaed Kakoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Awwad Al Ansari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 王战冰 having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Al Whada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mosab Al Harban came free, but David Drent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
