Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Al Sohali started the match with the kick off. David Drent made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Anwar Al Attar sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th match minute, Dubai CSC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulatif Al Herz to maneuver through the defense. Sayed Al Shaikh hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Salah Al Sarraf struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Umberto Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al Whada FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaqoub Bo Shehri during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Al Whada FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Yaqoub Bo Shehri hit a great ball. David Drent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edrees Al Kandere in the 19th minute of the match. David Drent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Al Sohali in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Al Whada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moner Hayat to maneuver through the defense. Umberto Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Msaed Kakoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Ali Al Sohali dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Drent, 2-0. Dubai CSC's Umberto Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eshaq Abol in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Anwar Al Attar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dubai CSC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anwar Al Attar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anwar Al Attar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Drent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Al Whada FC were furious when Zaher Al Sharah was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Al Whada FC! Abdulatif Al Herz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but David Drent made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Msaed Kakoli was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Msaed Kakoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Umberto Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Msaed Kakoli took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto Arce. Umberto Arce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Umberto Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Msaed Kakoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Drent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Al Sohali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Al Whada FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
