Barmby on the Marsh AFC's Nikolay Nuruchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Barmby on the Marsh AFC from getting a goal against them. Rudolf Zhegin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rochford's Kondrat Sosin got a free kick in the 15th minute. Maksim Norkin might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Savvin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maksim Norkin ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudolf Savvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Troilin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Fedor Troilin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Savvin having to interfere. Rasul Verhovtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rasul Verhovtsev scored 1-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolay Nuruchev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rustam Veselov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Barmby on the Marsh AFC's Leonid Golovin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fedor Troilin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Maksim Norkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rochford's Rudolf Savvin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudolf Savvin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maksim Norkin went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rustam Veselov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nikolay Nuruchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rustam Veselov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Nuruchev having to interfere. The supporters of Barmby on the Marsh AFC booed when Rochford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirill Trushin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonid Golovin's shot from long distance in the 87th minute was not bad at all, but Rochford's Rudolf Savvin knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Vladimir Shafirov struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Nikolay Nuruchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rochford. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Rasul Verhovtsev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rochford's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasul Verhovtsev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolay Nuruchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
