With a little luck, Moreton United's Stanislav Migulin got control of the ball when Roman Samonov tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Petr Chervitskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14thth minute of the game Pavel Volochkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Streatham's Nikolay Baranchikov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikolay Baranchikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Volochkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Oleg Ermakov fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moreton United's protests and gave Oleg Ermakov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Oleg Ermakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd match minute, Moreton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Alferov to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Vasiliy Maltsev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolay Baranchikov. After a rather tough play, Moreton United's Viktor Alferov got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stanislav Migulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
