In the 13th minute of the match Kirill Sharapov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Volkan Demirel skillfully saved the ball. Trowell United's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Dzierwa in the 22nd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Letunov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 53 minutes on the clock, Anatoliy Shtein commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Stubbington's Kirill Sharapov got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Emil Dzierwa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Volkan Demirel. Emil Dzierwa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After 60 played minutes Trowell United got a freekick which was hit by Novri Kusdianto. Emil Dzierwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Volkan Demirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When German Orlov came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Stubbington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Orlov couldn't finish the play. Stepan Grishko struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Volkan Demirel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stubbington. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Emil Dzierwa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stubbington's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Dzierwa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkan Demirel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vyacheslav Kibanov fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trowell United's protests and gave Vyacheslav Kibanov a yellow card for diving instead. Volkan Demirel made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when German Orlov sent off a good shot on target.
