The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in The Gay Village City's zone, Afanasiy Feldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilya Nazemnov came out of the goal and Afanasiy Feldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nikolay Bessonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Moiseev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolay Bessonov, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Arseniy Kazakov's late challenge caught a The Gay Village City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arseniy Kazakov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The Gay Village City booed when Springfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arseniy Kazakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Zhirinovskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Moiseev having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Springfield's Arseniy Kazakov got a free kick in the 21st minute. Springfield's Eduard Moiseev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolay Bessonov in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Afanasiy Feldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Gay Village City's Ilya Nazemnov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Viktor Zhirinovskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springfield's Eduard Moiseev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afanasiy Feldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilya Nazemnov having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, The Gay Village City's Nikolay Bessonov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduard Moiseev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladislav Sirotkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vyacheslav Kolbaseev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Ilya Nazemnov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Afanasiy Feldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ilya Nazemnov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afanasiy Feldt to make the kick off. If Afanasiy Feldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of The Gay Village City booed when Springfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniil Afinogenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rostislav Pochkaev succeeded in the game's 56th minute to get real power on a long shot . Springfield's Eduard Moiseev hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-2! Ilya Nazemnov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afanasiy Feldt in the 63rd minute of the match. Springfield's Eduard Moiseev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Zhirinovskiy in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Springfield's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Zhirinovskiy came free, but Eduard Moiseev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vyacheslav Kolbaseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afanasiy Feldt succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. In the 80thth minute of the game Viktor Zhirinovskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springfield's Eduard Moiseev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afanasiy Feldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ilya Nazemnov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vyacheslav Kolbaseev struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ilya Nazemnov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springfield. 93 minutes into the match, The Gay Village City's goal looked a bit too open when Vyacheslav Kolbaseev came free, but Ilya Nazemnov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Springfield were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
