After 25 played minutes Milnrow FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Sarafanov. Milnrow FC's Danila Shestakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damir Borisov in the 26th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Damir Borisov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ötüken and the Milnrow FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damir Borisov kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gerasim Kulikovskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Sheikin in the 32nd minute of the match. Gerasim Kulikovskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Gusev, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evgeniy Gusev in the 48th minute of play forced ötüken's goalkeeper Gerasim Kulikovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gennadiy Bessmertnov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evgeniy Gusev's late challenge caught a ötüken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evgeniy Gusev helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ötüken booed when Milnrow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evgeniy Gusev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evgeniy Gusev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gerasim Kulikovskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Milnrow FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
