Valeryan Korpusnov ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Evgeniy Marusin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filimon Adabashyan. Filimon Adabashyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoliy Akopyan in the 30th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Rostislav Isakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sefton AFC and the North Petherton City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Sefton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rostislav Isakov. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Valeryan Korpusnov managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Petherton City's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeryan Korpusnov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filimon Adabashyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vadim Borovikovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Gavrilyuk having to interfere. Fedor Kabanov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Sefton AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Evgeniy Marusin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sefton AFC's Filimon Adabashyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valeryan Korpusnov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filimon Adabashyan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, North Petherton City's Nikita Zavoiskiy got a free kick in the 49th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evgeniy Marusin to strike the kick off in the second half. Valeryan Korpusnov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filimon Adabashyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evgeniy Marusin in the 72nd minute of the match. Filimon Adabashyan made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Valeryan Korpusnov sent off a good shot on target. Leonard Gavrilyuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Borovikovskiy in the 78th minute of play. If Fedor Kabanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. North Petherton City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
