Yaroslav Sheptalin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakov Kleschev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Dereham were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anton Yakovlevs short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Yaroslav Sheptalin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dereham's goalkeeper Georgiy Samoilov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Netherton's Fedor Flerinskiy got a free kick in the 94th minute.
