Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Valeriy Garglinovich started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gleb Shumikhin hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Petr Ilchikov charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petr Ilchikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hayling Island City's Petr Ilchikov got a free kick in the 4th minute. Emmanuil Atapin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Timperley's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marat Verhoturov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klim Puchnin having to interfere. Hayling Island City's Vladimir Mikhailov got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Mikhailov in the 17th minute of play forced Timperley's goalkeeper Vsevolod Sachenkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Vladimir Mikhailov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Timperley's Vsevolod Sachenkov. Vsevolod Sachenkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Valeriy Garglinovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vsevolod Sachenkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Mikhailov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marat Verhoturov got free with Klim Puchnin in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladimir Mikhailov might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vsevolod Sachenkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Mikhailov ran back to his position shaking his head. Vsevolod Sachenkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriy Garglinovich in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Hayling Island City got a freekick which was hit by Petr Ilchikov. After the first half Hayling Island City were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emmanuil Atapin made a kick off. Hayling Island City's Petr Ilchikov pulled a muscle in his leg after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Timperley booed when Hayling Island City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriy Garglinovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Hayling Island City defense, Emmanuil Atapin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klim Puchnin. The Hayling Island City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klim Puchnin should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute of the match, Vladimir Mikhailov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vsevolod Sachenkov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Emmanuil Atapin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Marat Verhoturov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klim Puchnin. Hayling Island City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marat Verhoturov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Marat Verhoturov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timperley's supporters rose to their feet, but Marat Verhoturov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klim Puchnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timperley's Vsevolod Sachenkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Timperley from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Semen Negodyaev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hayling Island City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timperley the free kick. After 86 played minutes Hayling Island City got a freekick which was hit by Semen Negodyaev. Hayling Island City's Klim Puchnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marat Verhoturov in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hayling Island City defense, Marat Verhoturov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klim Puchnin. The Hayling Island City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klim Puchnin should have stopped the shot. Hayling Island City's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Timperley had won, even though Hayling Island City had held more of the ball.
