The tension between the Stamford and the Wellingborough FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 17 minutes into the match, Stamford's goal looked a bit too open when Daniil Kazakov came free, but Zinoviy Popovskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniil Kazakov fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wellingborough FC's protests and gave Daniil Kazakov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wellingborough FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Daniil Kazakov hit a great ball. Stanislav Alshevskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emmanuil Dementiev kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Stanislav Alshevskiy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Georgiy Akimenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Wellingborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Alshevskiy came free, but Georgiy Akimenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniil Kazakov made the kick off in the second half. Aleksey Gusev struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Georgiy Akimenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stamford. Aleksey Vukolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinoviy Popovskiy having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stamford's Aleksey Gusev got a free kick in the 57th minute. Emmanuil Dementiev hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Aleksey Vukolov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellingborough FC's Georgiy Akimenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Alshevskiy in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Wellingborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Alshevskiy came free, but Georgiy Akimenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Emmanuil Dementiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Wellingborough FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oleg Pich to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksey Vukolov in the 92nd minute of play forced Stamford's goalkeeper Zinoviy Popovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wellingborough FC's zone, Evgeniy Borodin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georgiy Akimenko came out of the goal and Evgeniy Borodin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stamford's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
