When Uttoxeter AFC's Yaroslav Kunyaev in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shirebrook's goalie prevented a goal. Oleg Listev might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasiliy Kanbekov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oleg Listev ran back to his position shaking his head. Yaroslav Kunyaev struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Stanislav Poddubnyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uttoxeter AFC. If Oleg Listev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaroslav Kunyaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Stanislav Poddubnyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Daniil Veprik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vasiliy Kanbekov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the game, Uttoxeter AFC's Andrey Chichin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanislav Poddubnyi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oleg Listev to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Uttoxeter AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaroslav Shashkov to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Viktor Mishin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasiliy Kanbekov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Shirebrook's Oleg Listev in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Shirebrook's Stanislav Poddubnyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Chichin in the 63rd minute of play. Yaroslav Kunyaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Stanislav Poddubnyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Yaroslav Kunyaev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uttoxeter AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaroslav Kunyaev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Poddubnyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 minutes, Vladislav Kurshinov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uttoxeter AFC and the Shirebrook players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Uttoxeter AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Shirebrook:s goal. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Shirebrook. Viktor Mishin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vasiliy Kanbekov. 2-1. In the 82ndth minute of the game Oleg Listev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uttoxeter AFC's Vasiliy Kanbekov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Yaroslav Kunyaev notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Shirebrook's Stanislav Poddubnyi. Stanislav Poddubnyi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oleg Listev in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasiliy Kanbekov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yaroslav Kunyaev fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uttoxeter AFC's protests and gave Yaroslav Kunyaev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Yaroslav Kunyaev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oleg Listev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andrey Chichin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Uttoxeter AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrey Chichin couldn't finish the play. The Uttoxeter AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Shirebrook from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
