Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rory Astridge started the match with the kick off. Anatoliy Nemolyaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jimmy Nicholls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, East Dereham City's Igor Lobanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmy Nicholls made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Lobanov in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Nicholls prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When East Dereham City's Igor Lobanov in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poulton-Le-Fylde's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Poulton-Le-Fylde's Edward Abbott got a free kick in the 11th minute. Prokl Kuzmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Astridge in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Anatoliy Eliseev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timofey Ryabushkin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, one of East Dereham City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for East Dereham City. The goalkeeper, Prokl Kuzmin, was totally fooled by Poulton-Le-Fylde's Dominic Lineker, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Igor Lobanov hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Poulton-Le-Fylde got a freekick which was hit by Danny Clapham. East Dereham City's Prokl Kuzmin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save East Dereham City from getting a goal against them. Vladislav Averchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jimmy Nicholls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. East Dereham City's Anatoliy Nemolyaev got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Nicholls came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by East Dereham City's Anatoliy Eliseev. But to his dismay, Anatoliy Eliseev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anatoliy Nemolyaev made a kick off. In the 55th minute Bob Warne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prokl Kuzmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, East Dereham City's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Astridge came free, but Prokl Kuzmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Rory Astridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prokl Kuzmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pahom Grishin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Nicholls having to interfere. A collision led to East Dereham City getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Felix Zubinskiy hit a great ball. Dominic Lineker was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jimmy Nicholls was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Anatoliy Nemolyaev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anatoliy Nemolyaev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Anatoliy Nemolyaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jimmy Nicholls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, East Dereham City's Anatoliy Nemolyaev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmy Nicholls narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
