The supporters of Binsted booed when Howden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Crowther didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Binsted players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Howden were winning 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Deon Blakeley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howden's supporters rose to their feet, but Deon Blakeley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Burley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Will Glasby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Fountain in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Howden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
