If Nono Esperta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Benedykt Pilarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonny Hicks was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Nono Esperta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedykt Pilarski in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonny Hicks saved Maradona FC from getting behind. When TROYA CF's Benedykt Pilarski in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maradona FC's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Spyros Vlassiadis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonny Hicks. Maradona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Spyros Vlassiadis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Samuel Bennett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Henry Nash made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Nono Esperta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TROYA CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 33 minutes into the game, Benedykt Pilarski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonny Hicks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonny Hicks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedykt Pilarski's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Benedykt Pilarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maradona FC's Jonny Hicks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nono Esperta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maradona FC booed when TROYA CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Sharpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, TROYA CF's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Atkinson came free, but Henry Nash reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Nono Esperta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half TROYA CF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedykt Pilarski was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rowan Watson during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Maradona FC got a freekick which was hit by Rowan Watson. In the 52nd minute, Spyros Vlassiadis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maradona FC's Jonny Hicks didn't even have to move. 55 minutes into the game, Nono Esperta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonny Hicks. Nono Esperta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 58 minutes, Benedykt Pilarski made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Maradona FC's Jonny Hicks tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Jonny Hicks managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when TROYA CF's Benedykt Pilarski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The TROYA CF fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when TROYA CF's Benedykt Pilarski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruben Sharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedykt Pilarski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 71st playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Pilarski got free with Jonny Hicks in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Jeremy Hulbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Maradona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nono Esperta came free, but Jonny Hicks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes, Ron Tipton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maradona FC and the TROYA CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Maradona FC got a freekick which was hit by Ron Tipton. Jonny Hicks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedykt Pilarski in the 83rd minute. Jonny Hicks was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Nono Esperta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nono Esperta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Henry Nash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Atkinson in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Benedykt Pilarski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonny Hicks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Pilarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over TROYA CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maradona FC throughout the match.
