Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Walter Atkinson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Samuel Bennett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maradona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Bennett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Burley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Walter Atkinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Burley was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Samuel Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Fountain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jonny Hicks made a huge save. Kristopher Heath charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristopher Heath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walter Atkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maradona FC booed when Binsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Almond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Atkinson took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jake Burley. Jake Burley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Samuel Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute, Walter Atkinson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maradona FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Alexander Fountain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Samuel Bennett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Burley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Rod Crossley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Burley having to interfere. Samuel Bennett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jake Burley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Atkinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Jake Burley came out of the goal and Walter Atkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Binsted's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Walter Atkinson scored to the left of an out of position Jake Burley, making the score, 0-3. Glenn Almond's late challenge caught a Maradona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glenn Almond helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maradona FC booed when Binsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Almond didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Piers Ripley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jonny Hicks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ron Tipton fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maradona FC's protests and gave Ron Tipton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maradona FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ron Tipton hit a great ball. Maradona FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
