Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Esharveer Chamling took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Esharveer Chamling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heybridge Basin's supporters rose to their feet, but Esharveer Chamling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gurpreet Rai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huntingdon's Gurpreet Rai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esharveer Chamling in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esharveer Chamling in the 21st minute of play forced Huntingdon's goalkeeper Gurpreet Rai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gosalaka Randhawa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Karmavajra Thakkar firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th minute, Huntingdon's Gosalaka Randhawa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Huntingdon getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bodhinmanas Sidhu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esharveer Chamling in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gurpreet Rai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abhinatha Virk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Amisa Bansal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abhinatha Virk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Karmavajra Thakkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gurpreet Rai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esharveer Chamling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esharveer Chamling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harbux Bhatia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gurpreet Rai having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abhinatha Virk to make the kick off. Abhinatha Virk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gosalaka Randhawa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karmavajra Thakkar having to interfere. 62 minutes in the game, Esharveer Chamling fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gurpreet Rai having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Harbux Bhatia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gurpreet Rai. Huntingdon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harbux Bhatia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esharveer Chamling in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gurpreet Rai saved Huntingdon from getting behind. When Harbux Bhatia came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Heybridge Basin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harbux Bhatia couldn't finish the play. If Esharveer Chamling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gosalaka Randhawa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Karmavajra Thakkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Gosalaka Randhawa had to leave the field with a concussion. 77 minutes into the game, Ekval Sirjoshi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heybridge Basin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huntingdon the free kick. Ekval Sirjoshi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Devarsi Johl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bodhinmanas Sidhu fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huntingdon's protests and gave Bodhinmanas Sidhu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Huntingdon's Bodhinmanas Sidhu got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes in the game Lakshman Japra after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Gurpreet Rai. A very good opportunity. In the 92nd minute Ahan Pujari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gurpreet Rai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huntingdon's goalkeeper Gurpreet Rai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esharveer Chamling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Huntingdon could leave the field as winners, despite Heybridge Basin having more of the ball for most of the match.
