Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karnavira Dambria started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Farnsfield FC's goalkeeper Bhart Iyengar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asvaghosa Chawla. Asvaghosa Chawla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bhart Iyengar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abhinavan Gowda in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bhart Iyengar saved Farnsfield FC from getting behind. Bhart Iyengar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abhinavan Gowda in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Farnsfield FC's Narinder Sahota got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asvaghosa Chawla got free with Bhart Iyengar in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Asvaghosa Chawla could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Bhart Iyengar however easily saved by the left post. Bhart Iyengar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asvaghosa Chawla in the 35th minute. Narinder Sahota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devarpana Tamang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kakanda Bhattacharya in the 40th minute of the match. Karnavira Dambria charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karnavira Dambria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abhinavan Gowda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Abhinavan Gowda made the kick off in the second half. Kishore Joshi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bhart Iyengar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Abhinavan Gowda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bhart Iyengar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Hema Mundra came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Crookes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hema Mundra couldn't finish the play. In the 61st match minute, Farnsfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karnavira Dambria to maneuver through the defense. Bhart Iyengar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abhinavan Gowda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crookes's Hema Mundra got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ishao Vishwakarma during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Ishao Vishwakarma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Abhinavan Gowda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bhart Iyengar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrupa Judge hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Abhinavan Gowda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bhart Iyengar came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Crookes's Abhinavan Gowda. But to his dismay, Abhinavan Gowda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Asvaghosa Chawla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bhart Iyengar came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Crookes's Abhinavan Gowda. But to his dismay, Abhinavan Gowda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crookes had won after a very even match.
