In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunton Bassett FC's goalkeeper Rajendar Moktan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rajendar Moktan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramandeep Naidu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Cidambara Diyali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35thth minute of the game Cidambara Diyali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunton Bassett FC's Rajendar Moktan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee gave Ambumani Hundal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Westbury-sub-Mendip getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ambumani Hundal hit a great ball. Budhila Talib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adhinatha Gill's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Ramandeep Naidu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rajendar Moktan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westbury-sub-Mendip. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dunton Bassett FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Westbury-sub-Mendip had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
