Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pritpal More started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Jacksdale's Basanta Arora got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Uttamroop Kapoor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jacksdale's Dharmanatha Mondol didn't even have to move. Bhanu Multani kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Dharmanatha Mondol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amara Bal in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pritpal More in the 14th minute of play forced Jacksdale's goalkeeper Dharmanatha Mondol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amara Bal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pritpal More fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dharmanatha Mondol having to interfere. If Pritpal More had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amara Bal in the 24th minute of play forced Jacksdale's goalkeeper Dharmanatha Mondol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Jacksdale's goal looked a bit too open when Pritpal More came free, but Dharmanatha Mondol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Harikishan Ahluwalia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gundeep Roy kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tejinderjit Gaikwad, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jayakumar Dutta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Balakasva Mohan came out and tried to block the shot, but Jayakumar Dutta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. Dharmanatha Mondol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pritpal More went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 47 played minutes, Newcastle-upon-Tyne City's Gokanya Malhotra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dharmanatha Mondol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newcastle-upon-Tyne City reached it.
The wind increased when Jayakumar Dutta made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Newcastle-upon-Tyne City's goal looked a bit too open when Harikishan Ahluwalia came free, but Balakasva Mohan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amara Bal in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dharmanatha Mondol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harikishan Ahluwalia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Balakasva Mohan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jayakumar Dutta took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Balakasva Mohan. Balakasva Mohan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pritpal More in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dharmanatha Mondol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dharmanatha Mondol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pritpal More's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Dharmanatha Mondol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pritpal More in the 71st minute of play. Dharmanatha Mondol was a little too slow when Pritpal More got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-2. With his leg Dharmanatha Mondol managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Newcastle-upon-Tyne City's Amara Bal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute, Haranetra Waraich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jayakumar Dutta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
