The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the match, Alde's goal looked a bit too open when Dipankura Deol came free, but Ajakara Mukhopadhyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dipankura Deol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Sutton Valence FC got a freekick which was hit by Bhurikirti Chand. 19 minutes into the match, Istaka Gandhi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alde's Ajakara Mukhopadhyay. Ajakara Mukhopadhyay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Istaka Gandhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ajakara Mukhopadhyay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Istaka Gandhi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daulat Powar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avanipala Boparai having to interfere. Sutton Valence FC's Avanipala Boparai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambu Khattri in the 32nd minute of play. Avanipala Boparai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambu Khattri in the 33rd minute of the match. If Ambu Khattri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Alde players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sutton Valence FC were winning 0-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ambu Khattri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alde's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambu Khattri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avanipala Boparai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59thth minute of the game Dipankura Deol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alde's Ajakara Mukhopadhyay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dipankura Deol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ajakara Mukhopadhyay came out and tried to block the shot, but Dipankura Deol slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 61st minute. Ajakara Mukhopadhyay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dipankura Deol, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alde fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Sutton Valence FC's Admani Kattaura got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ajakara Mukhopadhyay. Esita Chettri kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Istaka Gandhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brgala Deol charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brgala Deol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sutton Valence FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Brgala Deol hit a great ball. Ambu Khattri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Dipankura Deol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ajakara Mukhopadhyay. Alde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dipankura Deol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Ajakara Mukhopadhyay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Istaka Gandhi in the 86th minute. Alde's Ajakara Mukhopadhyay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Alde from getting a goal against them. Analajit Bhardwaj kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ajakara Mukhopadhyay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksitipati Bain in the 92nd minute of the match.
