After some careless play in the Tewkesbury City defense, Sonali Jhuti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amandeep Bhambra. The Tewkesbury City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amandeep Bhambra should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Putney City's goal looked a bit too open when Asvala Gill came free, but Ksitipuruhuta Phom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krishnamachari Mahalingappa during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Putney City booed when Tewkesbury City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krishnamachari Mahalingappa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aslesa Gore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amandeep Bhambra. Tewkesbury City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute Sarjant Khatri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amandeep Bhambra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksitipuruhuta Phom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amtesvara Singh, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th match minute, Tewkesbury City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avinash Varghese to maneuver through the defense. Amtesvara Singh might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ksitipuruhuta Phom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sarjant Khatri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Tewkesbury City's Asvala Gill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ksitipuruhuta Phom. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. Asvala Gill who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Ksitipuruhuta Phom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amtesvara Singh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksitipuruhuta Phom having to interfere. Ksitipuruhuta Phom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amtesvara Singh, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Putney City's goalkeeper Ksitipuruhuta Phom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asvala Gill. Ksitipuruhuta Phom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amtesvara Singh in the 76th minute of play. Tewkesbury City's Amandeep Bhambra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sarjant Khatri in the 78th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Tewkesbury City's goal looked a bit too open when Sarjant Khatri came free, but Amandeep Bhambra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amtesvara Singh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ksitipuruhuta Phom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonali Jhuti in the 95th minute of play forced Tewkesbury City's goalkeeper Amandeep Bhambra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tewkesbury City were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
