After 9 played minutes Bloomsbury got a freekick which was hit by Akalsukh Mendes. In the 10th minute, Jagaprtia Balli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bloomsbury's Ananda Atwal didn't even have to move. In the 13th minute, Parasher Chauhan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ananda Atwal, passed just outside the right post. Parasher Chauhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ananda Atwal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bloomsbury getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Akalsukh Mendes hit a great ball. Parasher Chauhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ananda Atwal made a huge save. Kamalanetra Reddy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Japjot Lachenpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parasher Chauhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ananda Atwal having to interfere. In the 38th minute Atisa Das shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ananda Atwal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Wakefield's goal looked a bit too open when Japjot Lachenpa came free, but Kamalanetra Reddy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 56 played minutes Bloomsbury got a freekick which was hit by Dharanija Rattu. Jagaprtia Balli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ananda Atwal. Bloomsbury's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wakefield's zone, Japjot Lachenpa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamalanetra Reddy came out of the goal and Japjot Lachenpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wakefield getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Harsajjan Sandhar hit a great ball. Kamalanetra Reddy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Japjot Lachenpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kamalanetra Reddy was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Japjot Lachenpa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Japjot Lachenpa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Surjot Matharu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Kamalanetra Reddy made a huge save. If Surjot Matharu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mithal Bahia hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wakefield getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dindayala Atwal hit a great ball. Bloomsbury's Ananda Atwal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atisa Das in the 80th minute of play. Ananda Atwal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atisa Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Parasher Chauhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Parasher Chauhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bloomsbury were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Wakefield side.
