Agnidhraka Dindral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kumara Pawar scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aviksipa Paul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Maharashtra Power's Kakanda Vurghese got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ravinder Chand in the 47th minute of play forced Hunstanton's goalkeeper Apalala Mitra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agnidhraka Dindral to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Hunstanton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kumara Pawar to maneuver through the defense. Gurucarana Bhasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apalala Mitra having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maharashtra Power's zone, Agnidhraka Dindral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aviksipa Paul came out of the goal and Agnidhraka Dindral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Ahima Pal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aviksipa Paul was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Agnidhraka Dindral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gurucarana Bhasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apalala Mitra having to interfere. Apalala Mitra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ravinder Chand in the 83rd minute of the match. When Agnidhraka Dindral came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hunstanton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agnidhraka Dindral couldn't finish the play.
