Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramneek Gala started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Hove defense, Ramneek Gala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anukula Khattri. The Hove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anukula Khattri should have stopped the shot. Ramneek Gala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Ramneek Gala notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hove's Anukula Khattri. Anukula Khattri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Uttoxeter AFC's Gururajan Malhotra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Uttoxeter AFC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Ramneek Gala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Anukula Khattri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anukula Khattri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramneek Gala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hove's goalkeeper Anukula Khattri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hove booed when Uttoxeter AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lala Kasal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anukula Khattri came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Uttoxeter AFC's Ramneek Gala. But to his dismay, Ramneek Gala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Uttoxeter AFC's Abhinandin Nigam got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half Uttoxeter AFC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sukhjiwan Sukhija made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Ramneek Gala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Hove's goal looked a bit too open when Ramneek Gala came free, but Anukula Khattri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gururajan Malhotra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirti Thapa in the 67th minute of play. Sitaram Chakrabarty hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Anukula Khattri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramneek Gala in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Hove booed when Uttoxeter AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilbaag Raj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Sukhjiwan Sukhija made a precise shot to the right of Gururajan Malhotra. Uttoxeter AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After 78 played minutes Hove got a freekick which was hit by Radhakrish Khandelwal. When Radhakrish Khandelwal fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hove's protests and gave Radhakrish Khandelwal a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Hove got a freekick which was hit by Radhakrish Khandelwal. In the 84th minute of the match Devasisa Iyengar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anukula Khattri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Hove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Srikanta Dhamija to maneuver through the defense. Dilbaag Raj struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Anukula Khattri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uttoxeter AFC. Dilbaag Raj took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anukula Khattri. Anukula Khattri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The Hove supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Uttoxeter AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Uttoxeter AFC.
