The tension between the Hove and the Bucknell AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anugra Solanki hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A long shot from Jalada Siddhu in the 14th minute of play was well struck, but Anukula Khattri made a really good save at the right post. Anugra Solanki was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 16th minute, Bucknell AFC's Alopa Upadhyay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anukula Khattri. Anukula Khattri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Kirti Thapa took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karmavajra Lalli. Karmavajra Lalli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 30th minute, Srikanta Dhamija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hulas Agarwal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anukula Khattri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Srikanta Dhamija hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Alopa Upadhyay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alopa Upadhyays short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Anukula Khattri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anukula Khattri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulas Agarwal in the 42nd minute of the match. Kirti Thapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee ignored Bucknell AFC's protests and gave Jagatipati Atwal a yellow card for diving instead. Jagatipati Atwal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Kirti Thapa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Karmavajra Lalli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Hove's Kirti Thapa made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karmavajra Lalli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Bucknell AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kirti Thapa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hulas Agarwal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alopa Upadhyay in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anukula Khattri saved Hove from getting behind. After 77 minutes Hove's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jalada Siddhu who took care of the corner kick. Jalada Siddhu made a great header on Bucknell AFC's corner, it was just that Hove's Anukula Khattri managed to reach the ball for a save. Camaraja Chaddha kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Karmavajra Lalli made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Kirti Thapa sent off a good shot on target. If Kirti Thapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Bucknell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jalada Siddhu. If Alopa Upadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hove walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
