The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Wanborough City's zone, Dinesh Chandha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alugu Bajaj came out of the goal and Dinesh Chandha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kacima Ghai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harchanan Agroia. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Telford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bhasker Mittal to maneuver through the defense. Prabhbir Tamang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harchanan Agroia having to interfere. When Telford AFC's Esita Rama in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wanborough City's goalie prevented a goal. Dinesh Chandha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alugu Bajaj having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Telford AFC's Dinesh Chandha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alugu Bajaj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alugu Bajaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinesh Chandha in the 36th minute of play. Alugu Bajaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinesh Chandha, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Esita Rama managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 60th minute, Wanborough City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Esita Rama fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Dinesh Chandha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Telford AFC's Dinesh Chandha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alugu Bajaj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 67 minutes on the clock, Bhasker Mittal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Telford AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wanborough City:s goal. If Prabhbir Tamang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Wanborough City's goalkeeper Alugu Bajaj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lal Judge. With a little luck, Wanborough City's Alugu Bajaj got control of the ball when Esita Rama tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prabhbir Tamang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Harchanan Agroia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lal Judge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telford AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
