But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haratejas Chaudhary couldn't finish the play. Haratejas Chaudhary hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Farnborough's Apasanka Tangadavi got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Farnborough's Kris Hira got a free kick in the 12th minute. Candradatta Basra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sachgian Agrawal. Farnborough's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sachgian Agrawal made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Abhasa Virdee sent off a good shot on target. Sachgian Agrawal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rama Mohan in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rama Mohan in the 19th minute of play forced Farnborough's goalkeeper Sachgian Agrawal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rama Mohan succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After having played for 37 minutes, Rama Mohan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freshwater United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rama Mohan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Farnborough's Aparimana Nahal got a free kick in the 39th minute. The Freshwater United fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Freshwater United's Abhasa Virdee looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rama Mohan made a kick off. Haratejas Chaudhary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haratejas Chaudhary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Khettry Lachenpa took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antariksa Sethi. Antariksa Sethi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Atala Bagha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sachgian Agrawal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haratejas Chaudhary might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antariksa Sethi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haratejas Chaudhary ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st match minute, Farnborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asvini Kler to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Farnborough's Dhaval Pandey got a free kick in the 88th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Abhasa Virdee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freshwater United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abhasa Virdee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abhasa Virdee in the 98th minute of play forced Farnborough's goalkeeper Sachgian Agrawal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Farnborough players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Freshwater United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
