London Colney FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aryasva Malhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, London Colney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cidananda Kharka came free, but Adityesa Ojha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Belton's Surjot Mittal got control of the ball when Janya Sodhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Janya Sodhi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Surjot Mittal made a huge save. Janya Sodhi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Surjot Mittal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cidananda Kharka struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Adityesa Ojha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belton. Surjot Mittal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amritleen Loey, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of London Colney FC booed when Belton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brahmagandha Malhotra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cidananda Kharka struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Adityesa Ojha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belton. Manohar Bagha's late challenge caught a Belton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manohar Bagha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, London Colney FC's Manohar Bagha got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute, Janya Sodhi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Surjot Mittal. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 45th minute, Cidananda Kharka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amritleen Loey made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Belton's zone, Janya Sodhi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Surjot Mittal came out of the goal and Janya Sodhi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amritleen Loey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Surjot Mittal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amanpreet Salve during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to London Colney FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Amanpreet Salve hit a great ball. Belton's Akalnivas Gowda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adityesa Ojha but with some difficulty. Amritleen Loey struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Surjot Mittal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for London Colney FC. If Janya Sodhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amritleen Loey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aryasva Malhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Adityesa Ojha made a huge save. Pooran Sethi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
